Client: The Western New York Land Conservancy
Project work while employed at MNLA as a landscape designer.
 
A concept for an abandoned elevated rail corridor balancing immediate community’s identity with a larger regional ecological and recreation network. The mile and a half long ribbon of greenway will one day be an integral connector between the surrounding neighborhoods and two distinct areas of the waterfront.

This project is a first place winner in the DL&W Corridor Design Ideas Competition.The Western New York Land Conservancy launched the competition to revive an abandoned stretch of the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western (DL&W) railway.
